Welcome to JobPrepHelp. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the JobPrepHelp platform, website, and related services.

1. Acceptance and Eligibility

By creating an account, accessing, or using JobPrepHelp, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the service.

You must be at least 18 years of age (or have the consent of a parent or guardian where legally competent) to use the service. The service is provided primarily as a UK consumer-facing platform for individual job preparation.

2. Description of the Service

JobPrepHelp provides AI-assisted interview preparation tools for job candidates, including:

  • CV-to-job specification alignment and gap analysis ("Match Analysis");
  • Tailored interview preparation portals featuring role-specific questions and suggested bullet points;
  • STAR technique interview scenarios (Situation, Task, Action, Result);
  • Rapid revision interactive flashcards and company values drills;
  • Knowledge quizzes and scoring tracking; and
  • CV document management and storage via the CV Library.

3. Important Disclaimer: No Guarantee of Employment Outcomes

No Guarantee of Interviews or Job Offers:

JobPrepHelp is an educational training and preparation tool designed to help you organise your interview thoughts and practise articulating your experience.

We make no guarantee, warranty, or representation that using JobPrepHelp will result in securing an interview, passing any assessment, receiving a job offer, or achieving any specific employment or career outcome. Hiring decisions remain entirely within the discretion of prospective employers.

4. AI-Generated Content Limitations and User Responsibility

JobPrepHelp uses artificial intelligence models to synthesise practice material based on the documents and text you provide. AI technology has inherent limitations:

  • Output May Contain Inaccuracies: Generated questions, company summaries, and STAR outlines may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuited to your specific interview format.
  • User Responsibility to Verify: You are strictly responsible for reviewing, checking, and fact-checking all generated outputs before relying upon or using them in any job interview or application.
  • Strict Prohibition on Misrepresentation: You agree that you will never knowingly use generated content to falsely represent your credentials, skills, employment history, qualifications, or experience to any employer, recruiter, or third party. Any STAR scenario or response you articulate to an interviewer must reflect your genuine professional experience.

5. User Content and Licences

You retain all ownership rights and copyright in the CVs, resumes, and text that you upload or submit to JobPrepHelp ("User Content").

By submitting User Content, you grant Novexel Technology Limited a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, revocable licence to process, host, parse, store, and transmit your User Content solely to the extent necessary to operate, provide, and maintain the JobPrepHelp services for you, and to comply with applicable legal obligations.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to submit your User Content, and that your content does not violate any applicable law or infringe the rights of any third party.

6. Third-Party Job Specifications and Links

When you submit job advertisements, role descriptions, or third-party URLs for analysis, you do so for your personal educational preparation.

JobPrepHelp and Novexel Technology Limited are independent entities and are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any employer, job board, or company referenced in preparation materials. Any third-party trademarks, company names, or job descriptions remain the property of their respective owners.

7. Accounts, Security, and Acceptable Use

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful, deceptive, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
  • Attempt to scrape, bulk download, reverse engineer, or decompile any part of the service;
  • Interfere with, overburden, or compromise the security or integrity of our systems or networks;
  • Share, resell, or sublicense access to your account or prep entitlements to third parties; or
  • Circumvent or attempt to bypass usage limits, billing rules, or access controls.

8. Paid Services, Subscriptions, and Prep Credits

JobPrepHelp offers free tier access alongside paid plans, including monthly and annual "Pro" subscriptions (offering unlimited prep generation) and one-off prep credit purchases.

  • Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely via our payment provider, Stripe. Prices are displayed inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Subscription Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually) unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the "My Billing & Invoices" customer portal or by contacting support. Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of your current paid billing period, and no further renewal charges will be taken.
  • Prep Credits: One-off prep credits allow generation of preparation sessions without a recurring subscription. Credits are tied to your account and consumed upon prep generation.

9. Consumer Cancellation Rights and Refunds (UK Consumers)

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or European Union, you have statutory cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Statutory 14-Day Cancellation Right:

  • Under UK consumer law, you have a statutory right to cancel a contract for digital content or digital services within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason.
  • Access to digital content does not automatically extinguish your statutory 14-day cancellation right unless you have provided prior express consent to immediate supply before the end of the cancellation period and expressly acknowledged that you lose your statutory cancellation right once the digital performance has begun.
  • If you exercise your statutory cancellation right, you may do so by contacting us at info@jobprephelp.com. We will process any due refund without undue delay, and in any event within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your statutory consumer rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 if any digital content supplied is faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality.

10. Account Deletion and 30-Day Holding Period

You may initiate account deletion at any time via the My Profile area.

To protect against accidental deletion, submitted deletion requests enter a 30-day holding period before permanent removal. During this period, active prep generation and new purchases are suspended. You can cancel your deletion request at any point within the 30 days. After 30 days, your account and associated personal data are permanently purged in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service immediately if:

  • You materially or repeatedly breach any provision of these Terms;
  • We reasonably suspect fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity;
  • You fail to pay applicable subscription or purchase fees; or
  • We are required to do so to comply with legal, regulatory, or court orders.

12. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights in the JobPrepHelp website, design, text, algorithms, question databases, code, and branding belong to Novexel Technology Limited or our licensors.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use JobPrepHelp for your personal, non-commercial interview preparation.

13. Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to ensure continuous availability of the service. However, we do not guarantee that JobPrepHelp will always be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free. We may occasionally suspend access to perform scheduled maintenance, security upgrades, or emergency repairs.

We may update or modify features of the platform from time to time to enhance user experience, improve AI models, or comply with changing legal requirements.

14. Limitation of Liability (UK Consumers)

Proportionate Liability under UK Law:

  • Statutory Non-Excludable Liability: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by the laws of England and Wales.
  • Consumer Rights: As a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to digital services that are faulty or not as described. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local Citizens Advice Consumer Service or Trading Standards office.
  • Foreseeable Loss: If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
  • No Business Losses: JobPrepHelp is supplied for domestic and private consumer use. If you use the service for any commercial, business, or resale purpose, we will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
  • Liability Cap: Subject to the above non-excludable liabilities, our total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Novexel Technology Limited for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

As a consumer, you may bring legal proceedings in respect of the services in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, you can bring legal proceedings in either the Scottish or English courts. If you live in Northern Ireland, you can bring legal proceedings in either the Northern Irish or English courts.
