Privacy Policy

Effective date: 14 May 2026

JobPrepHelp processes account, payment, and prep-generation data so we can provide personalised interview preparation services. For GDPR and privacy enquiries contact info@jobprephelp.com.

What we collect

We may collect your name, email address, login details, billing data, CV content, job descriptions, supporting files you upload, generated prep outputs, quiz progress, usage history, and reference links captured during live prep generation.

Why we process it

We process this information to create and deliver your prep portal, operate subscriptions and one-off payments, support exports and analytics, improve service quality, send necessary account and billing emails, and respond to support or GDPR requests.

Cookies and similar storage

JobPrepHelp uses essential cookies and similar first-party browser storage to keep sign-in, security, payments, and core prep functionality working. Optional categories are separated into preferences, analytics, and marketing, and are denied by default until you opt in. You can review these categories any time through our Cookie Policy and the Cookie Preferences controls.

Third parties

We use trusted third-party infrastructure providers for authentication, payments, secure data storage, email delivery, AI processing, and optional public reference gathering. We only share the minimum data needed for those services to operate.

Profile updates, deletion, and export

You can update your display name from the My Profile area. You can also request account deletion and, where available, download your account data from the product. When an account deletion request is submitted, the account enters a 30-day holding period before final deletion. During that period, new prep creation and new purchases are disabled. If you cancel the request, the account returns to active status and any later deletion request starts a fresh 30-day waiting period.

Retention and lawful holding

We retain personal data only as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, honor your active account state, meet legal obligations, investigate misuse, handle disputes, maintain billing and security records, or complete a pending deletion workflow. Even after account deletion, we may retain limited records where lawfully required for accounting, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.

Account and billing emails

We may send operational emails such as verification messages, welcome emails, purchase confirmations, recurring billing receipts, profile update notices, deletion-request notices, deletion-cancellation notices, feedback confirmations, and data-export confirmations. These emails are part of running the service and are separate from optional marketing communications.

Your rights

If you are in the UK, EU, or another jurisdiction with similar rights, you may request access, correction, export, restriction, or deletion of your personal data, subject to applicable law.
